Alliance & General Finance is a finance brokerage based in Great Yarmouth. We lend directly to local companies via our sales team, and nationally through distributors and suppliers.

The company's founding directors previously worked for a direct lender and as such we have extensive knowledge and contacts within the finance industry.

We realise that there is no one lender that offers a “one size fits all product”; we have therefore secured a spread of lenders to provide funding solutions for the full spectrum of business sizes and requirements.

All lenders look at proposals differently, which is why it’s important to persevere with a deal rather than give up after a couple of attempts at placing it. We deal with banks right through to small independent finance houses, most of which have no local offices and some have no local coverage at all with any other brokers in the area.


We can look at deals from £1,000 through to £5,000,000 from established blue chip companies to new start businesses.

What are our rates like? - well that depends. All credit companies have something called 'rate to risk'. The higher the risk involved, the higher the rate. New start businesses will not secure the same rate as blue chip companies.
